We sit in our homes/apartments with our heat on and complain about the weather. I have been very fortunate in my life. I have never been hungry or had to live in the cold. In my opinion, as long as your heat is working, this is MUCH preferable to the insane high temps & humidity of summer on Long Island. Now, about heat...I've been seeing lots of new reports of many people here in the NY area, mostly in the city, who are living in places without heat. In this weather! My prayers go out to you, and I hope everyone reading this says a little prayer for everyone trapped in the cold tonight.
