Dave’s Eye Color Revealed!
I’ve received some e-mails in regard to the most recent episode of Kyle’s B&B, ( # 169 ), in which Nick refers to Dave’s eye color as “amber-gold”. What color IS that, exactly? Would that be synonymous with “hazel”? Well, here’s where it gets interesting. Apparently, hazel means different things to different people. To some, it means greenish-brown. To others, light brown. Some even think it means blue-green….or a combination of blue, green and brown! Personally, I always thought of hazel as light brown. And the dictionary agrees with me….defining hazel as “a light, golden brown”. A-ha! Sounds to me like “amber-gold”, eh? So, does Dave have hazel eyes? Well… I did a little Google research, and it appears that, at least when dealing with eye-color, the most common assumption is that hazel means “greenish brown”. OK, so that’s not the color of Dave’s eyes. “Light golden brown”….yes. “Amber gold”…yes. “Light tan”….absolutely. But NOT “greenish-brown”. So…in the interest of making things crystal clear, here’s a pic of Dave in color, just to settle this once and for all:

What’s that they say about a picture saying a thousand words? Kinda’ does, huh? (Or is that “painting” a thousand words?). Well, either way, I think this answers the question once and for all. What color are Dave’s eyes? Just look at the picture! (Hint: golden-amber….).
