Ready for my Close-up, Mr. DeMille?

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 7:41 pm

OK, if you don’t know what movie THAT line is from, you’re probably not watching enough classic gay-themed movies. (For the record, it was uttered by Gloria Swanson in “Sunset Boulevard“). And no, it’s not a “gay movie”….(did they even make “gay movies” in the 1950s?) ….but it is pretty much accepted as another one of those movies gay men have “claimed” as one of our own throughout history. Anyway, why am I quoting a demented movie star for this post? Oh, yeah, well, I just got interviewed by the “Long Island Rainbow Connection“, Long Island’s gay news TV show…we taped the interview this past Tuesday, and it will air all throughout September on the “Long Island Rainbow Connection“, (it airs Tuesday nights, depending on your cable system…at either 10:00 pm, 12:00 midnight, or 2:00 am). And yeah, it will re-play every Tuesday in September. Michael Mulvaney interviewed me, and it was really a fun, interesting 10 minute discussion about “Kyle’s B&B“…. we joked beforehand about ending the interview with a “James Lipton/Inside the Actors Studio” thing, with him asking me my favorite curse word, and “what would you like to hear God say when you arrive in heaven?”, etc. Mercifully, we didn’t have time for that, and I think, (I hope), you’ll find the interview interesting if you get a chance to see it! Thank you to Michael, and everyone at the “Long Island Rainbow Connection” for making this happen!
