Book-Signing Appearance at the Gay & Lesbian Business & Entertainment Expo in NYC
If you haven’t ever been to the Expo, (it’s an annual event in NYC), wow…this is one wild, colorful weekend; a gigantic, fun-filled extravaganza of exhibitors & performers from all corners of the gay community. You can walk around and see hundreds of different exhibits from familiar names like Genre and Instinct magazines, TLA Video, InsightOut Books, and my buddies in the Gay Rodeo, (always a center of the action at the Expo!). There were also live performances going on all day at the stage in the back of the Expo, featuring a host of talented gay acts, and headlined this year by Amber, (yeah, the one who does This Is Your Night, One More Night, and Sexual). My friends at Out in America, who run Kyle’s B&B on their network of websites, were kind enough to invite me to come do a book-signing appearance at their booth/display area on both Saturday & Sunday, and it was such a fun time hanging out with the Out In America guys and meeting folks at the Expo. Some Kyle’s B&B readers brought their copies of the book with them to get signed; others bought the book there at the Expo and had me sign it; it was an honor to meet all of you! Thank you for coming out to meet me, I’m so touched.
